Esperanza Teasdale has built a successful career at two of the most recognizable companies: PepsiCo and Unilever. She is the first in her family to graduate college, business school and reach corporate America. She is a servant leader who voices her opinion fearlessly while delivering growth with purpose.
She recently held the Vice President & General Manager role for PepsiCo’s Hispanic Business Unit where she is recognized for building brand relevance through cultural fluency, accelerating customer growth and serving the community. She is skilled in developing long term strategies that are anchored in human insights and advanced analytics.
At PepsiCo, she improved brand equity for Pepsi among Hispanic consumers by creating award winning campaigns while driving brand growth with small business owners. She spearheaded the launch of PepsiCo Juntos Crecemos (Together We Grow), a multi-year platform to strengthen Hispanic restaurants, bodegas and carnicerías (meat markets) by addressing access to capital, digital and delivery technology and traffic driving solutions.
Among her many accolades, Esperanza was named 2024 Hispanic Marketer of the Year by HMC, received the 2022 ‘Female Frontier’ Award from Campaign US, and was one of People en Español’s ‘25 Most Powerful Women’ in 2021.
Esperanza is passionate about her community and serves on multiple non-profit boards and advisory councils. She is a frequent speaker at marketing events, leadership programs, universities and is a new Executive Coach and Advisor.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and Master of Business Administration from University of Connecticut. She is married to Jeff Teasdale and they have two children Patrick and Isabella.
