It was an innovative evening of marketing on May 28th, 2014, honoring Beth Comstock of GE, Philip Kotler of Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and Joseph V. Tripodi of The Coca-Cola Company, as they were inducted into the 2014 Marketing Hall of Fame. Attendees enjoyed an open bar and buffet reception at JWT Headquarters followed by the induction ceremony.
The agenda included tributes to the three inductees, and presentations from them on how they achieved success in marketing. Dr. Kotler gave an expansive talk that traced the origins of modern marketing and implications for the future. Joseph Tripodi shared his vision for global “networked” brands. Beth Comstock inspired the audience with a candid discussion on the human side of marketing leadership.
